Why is this important? Newey is one of, if not the most influential and successful designer in F1 history. He is to car design what Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher or Lewis Hamilton is to driving.
Newey is set to leave Red Bull after 2024, during their most dominant era in history – reportedly over the recent turmoil surrounding Christian Horner, and the ensuing internal power struggle within Red Bull Racing.
